Chase Infiniti: The Breakout Talent to Watch

Chase Infiniti is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most interesting emerging performers. Her breakthrough in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another introduced her to international audiences alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor. Now, with a major television role and another feature film on her schedule, Infiniti is building a career that reaches beyond one successful debut.

From Television Debut to a Major Film Breakthrough

Before her feature-film breakthrough, Infiniti appeared in Apple’s legal drama Presumed Innocent, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga. The experience introduced her to television audiences and helped prepare her for a much larger opportunity.

That opportunity arrived with One Battle After Another. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film features Infiniti as Willa Ferguson, a young woman caught in a dangerous search for identity and family truth. Her character becomes the emotional center of a story involving political conflict, personal history, and unexpected danger.

The role demanded considerable preparation. In an interview with TheWrap, Infiniti discussed the demanding audition process and her preparation, which included martial arts training and weapons practice. Her performance helped turn a first-time feature-film lead into an awards-season talking point.

The Testaments Brings a New Challenge

Infiniti’s next major step came with The Testaments, Hulu’s follow-up to The Handmaid’s Tale. Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel, the series follows young women growing up inside Gilead’s oppressive social system.

Infiniti plays Agnes, a young woman raised within the regime who begins confronting the realities of the world around her. The role gives her a different challenge from Willa: instead of a feature-film story driven by action and family conflict, she leads a serialized drama built around character development and political control.

Her performance has also brought formal recognition. The Television Academy lists her as a 2026 Emmy nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for The Testaments. Disney announced that the series was renewed for a second season in May 2026.

Beyond One Breakout Role

Infiniti is also leading The Julia Set, a drama directed by Niki Byrne. She plays Julia Fischer, a gifted mathematics student navigating academic pressure and a complicated relationship. The film received an official selection at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival before Sony Pictures Classics acquired distribution rights.

In a W Magazine interview, Infiniti discussed the rapid changes in her career and her experiences moving between major productions. These projects demonstrate an emerging range across action, dystopian drama, and coming-of-age storytelling.

Hollywood’s next generation of leading performers is constantly evolving. Chase Infiniti’s early choices suggest a career built on varied characters rather than one defining genre. With more opportunities ahead, audiences have several reasons to keep watching her progress.
