After a two-year hiatus, the American Music Awards (AMAs) return with a bang on Monday, May 26, 2025. The 51st edition of this fan-voted spectacle will be broadcast live from the opulent Fontainebleau Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+ with Showtime.

Jennifer Lopez is set to host the AMAs for the second time, a decade after her 2015 debut in the role. Despite a minor rehearsal injury requiring stitches on her nose, Lopez is prepared to deliver a dynamic performance. She expressed enthusiasm about performing again as she prepares for her “Up All Night Live” tour, her first in six years, beginning July 4 in Egypt.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with ten nods, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Post Malone follows with eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each have seven. The 2025 AMAs will feature a diverse lineup of performers:
